Rachel & Jonny

Rachel and Jonny’s London wedding was a burst colour for a March wedding. The colour palette was bright, joyful and filled with gorgeous spring blooms. The couple were married at Islington Town hall, followed by a reception at the Peasant gastro pub in the heart of London.

Using seasonal flowers, Rachel’s bouquet was a beautiful, colourful flower heavy arrangement featuring tulips, Icelandic poppies, ranunculus and roses. Her bridesmaids were dressed in a rich navy creating a gorgeous back drop to the flowers, making them pop with colour even more.

Rachel and Jonny used our additional services of styling and hired brass candlesticks to dress their wedding breakfast. Bud vases of tulips, ranunculus and roses lined the long tables alongside the candlesticks. We elevated the room further with a spectacular focal arrangement on the fireplace of the Peasant, creating that picture perfect moment for the wedding speeches.

After the wedding Rachel and Jonny were keen for their flowers to be repurposed and given to a good cause. We teamed up with the Floral Angels, a charity taking flowers after wedding, events and retailers. From their flowers they created bouquets and arrangements and donated them to local hospices, elderly care homes and shelters. Not only is this a fantastic cause it also helps create a more sustainable industry by reducing waste.

Thank you again to Rachel and Jonny for these beautiful pictures captured by Olliver Photography.
